Pediatrics, branch of medicine, deals with the medical care of population from birth through 18 years old. As of the scope of family medicine, pediatrician manages the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of their patients through comprehensive examination, diagnosing and relevant treatment of their patients. Pediatricians collaborate with other medical specialists and healthcare professionals for the purpose of prevention, early detection, and management of different problems affecting children and adolescents in every stage of development.
